LY1E40F-6A.、LY1E44F-2AD汽油机是玉环力鹰通用动力制造有限公司生产，玉环力鹰通用动力制造有限公司与天津内燃机研究所技术合作制造的单缸、强制式风冷、二冲程汽油机。
The series of LY1E40F and LY1E44F gasoline engine is a kind of single-cylinder, forced air-cooling and two-stroke gasoline engines manufactured by the Yuhuan Power Hawk General Motor Manufacturing Co. Ltd with a joint collaboration of the Tianjin Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute for technological matters.

该系列机型具有设计先进、结构紧凑、性能可靠、运转平稳、维修方便、使用经济等特点，是各类修剪割灌机、绿篱打草机、水泵、滑板车、真空泵、空压机、地钻等产品的配套动力。
The engines of this series have the features of advanced design, compact in structure, reliable performance, stably running, easy for maintenance and economy in use. Therefore, they have become the assorted motors for mounting on all kinds of croppers and brush saws, brush-cutters and grass-trimmers, water pumps, scooters, vacuum pumps, air compressors and the earth drillers.

本说明书简述了LY1E40F-6A、LY1E44F-2AD汽油机的操作、维修保养及故障排除方法。
This instruction book provides brief introduction to the handling, maintenance and trouble-shooting matters for the inner combustion engines of LY1E40F-6A and LY1E44F-2AD series.


使用前，请认真地阅读本说明书，严格按说明书的规定使用和保养，才能充分发挥其作用、避免事故和延长使用寿命。
Users should first of all read this instruction book carefully before using. In addition, they must strictly adhere to the regulations furnished in it for the handling and maintenance purposes so as to fully tap the potential of this engine, prevent malfunction and expand its service life.

安全警示：
Safety Warnings

· 加油必须在停机并冷却后进行，并远离火源
* The refueling can only be done after the engine is stopped and cooled completely and staying at places without source of fire.

· 加油时如有渗漏，应擦干油污并使完全挥发后方可使用
* When oil spill occurs, the refueling can only be done after the spill is completely wipe out and evaporated.

· 加油后必须移地3米以外起动
* After refueling, the engine should be moved to place of 3 meters away for re-starting.

· 起动汽油机前必须检查各紧固件是否拧紧
* Before starting the engine, make sure that all of the fastening parts are already securely fastened.

· 汽油机必须在通风良好的环境中运行
* The gasoline engine must work in well ventilated environment.

· 当汽油机在运转过程或刚停止运转后，为防止烫伤，请不要用手摸消声器和机体
* When the engine is running or just stopped, don’t touch the muffler and the engine body with hand in order to prevent scalding.

· 严禁使用纯汽油（不加二冲程专用机油）做燃料
* Using of pure gasoline (no additive of special lubricant oil for the two-stroke engines is added) as the fuel is strictly prohibited.

· 严禁急加速及急停机，防止超高速运行，以避免损坏机件
* For preventing damages to the engine components, quick speeding-up and quick stop are strictly prohibited. Likewise, no over-speeding is allowed.

· 为了防止高压电击，在汽油机运行中，请不要触摸火花塞帽和高压线
* For preventing high-voltage shock, don’t touch the caps of the spark plugs and the high-voltage lines while the engine is running.

· 醉酒者和妊娠妇女不得操作本机
* No drunkard or pregnant women is allowed to handle this engine.

二、使用方法
B. Work Procedure

1、 准备
1. Preparation

1} 油箱加油
a. Filling oil into the fuel tank.

采用90^＃或93^＃汽油与FC级二冲程汽油机专用机油，用配比壶[ZJW1] [ZJW1]按混合比为(25～30)：1配制。
Use #90 or #93 gasoline oil and the special lubricant oil for FC grade two-stroke gasoline engines and mix them with the ZJW1 mixing kettle into 25-30:1 mixing proportion.

注意：(a) 严禁使用纯汽油做燃料和30：1以上的混合油。
Attention: (a) It is strictly prohibited to use pure gasoline and the composite fuel whose mixing rate is over 30:1 as the fuel oil.

(b) 要在通风良好的环境内、并在汽油机停止运转的情况下加混合油。
(b) The refueling of the mixed oil can only be done in well ventilated environment and when the engine is stopped.

© 油箱不要加得太满，加油时如果有燃料溢出，必须及时擦抹干净，并将油箱盖旋紧后方可起动汽油机。
(c) The fuel tank must not be refilled to too full. When oil spill occurs, the spilled fuel must be wiped clean in time and to tightly screw up the cap of fuel tank before the engine is restarted.

(d) 汽油机加燃油处严禁烟火。
(d) No smoking or naked fire is allowed at places where the engine is being refueled.

2) 检查或清洗空气滤清器
b. Check or clean air purifier

因为被污染的空气滤清器会降低汽油机的输出功率，所以空气滤清器内部要经常清洗。
The purifier should be frequently cleaned because a polluted purifier shall lower output of the engine.

如果空气滤清器的滤芯被污物堵塞，须用汽油把滤芯和空气滤清器罩内清洗干净。
If the core of the purifier is blocked by dirt, the core and inner surface of the purifier case should be cleaned with gasoline.

清洗后的滤芯应放上几滴机油，把机油挤干后，装到空气滤清器内罩上。
Drip several drops of lubricant oil onto the cleaned filter core and squeeze it dry, then to mount it on the inner case of the purifier.

注意：禁止在无空气滤清器的情况下起动或运转汽油机，否则会加剧汽油机缸筒内壁磨损。
Attention: No starting or running of the gasoline engine is allowed without the purifier, because the friction on the inner wall of the cylinder shall be aggravated with no purifier is mounted.

2、 起动
2. Starting

1) 打开油箱开关，对于采用膜片式化油器的汽油机，要先按几下化油器燃油注油器，直到透明塑料管充满燃油并在回油管中有燃油流出为止，将阻风门拨到全关的位置。
1) Open the coke of the fuel tank. For the gasoline engines equipped with diaphragmatic carburator, press the fuel injector of the carbulator for several times until the transparent plastic pipe is full of oil and the oil is flowed out from the oil-returning pipe. Then to push the damper strangler to the position of full close.

注意：如果汽油机是热机或气温较高时，则阻风门应全开。
Attention: When the gasoline engine is hot or the air temperature is high, the damper strangler should be pushed to the position of full open.

2) 采用手拉自回绳式起动时，应平稳迅速地用力拉起动器，返回时握住起动绳的手把让其自行缩回。
2) When adopt the method of hand-pulling the self-retraction chord to start engine, it should be done by stably and quickly pulling the chord with enough strength. When the chord is retracting, hold the handle of the chord with hand and let it retract back automatically.

注意：返回时切不可松手，以防损坏起动器。
Note: When the chord is retracting back, letting it go is not allowed so as to prevent damage to the starter.

3) 采用电起动时，只要按起动电钮即可，但每次连续按起动电钮的时间不应超过15秒。
3) When adopting the method of electric start, just push the button. However, the time of continuously pressing on the button should not exceed 15 seconds.

4）汽油机起动后，将阻风门打至全开位置。
4) After the gasoline engine is started, push the damper strangler to the full open position.

注意：新的汽油机在最初24小时内，油门须处在半开状态，进行轻负荷工作，以便更好地磨合。
Attention: In the initial 24 hours of operating stage for a new engine, the accelerograph should be maintained at half-open position in order for the engine’s better grinding-in with light load.

3、 磨合与运行
3. Grinding-in and Running

1) 汽油机起动后，低速运转3～5分钟。
1) Run the engine at slow speed for about 3-5 minutes after starting of the engine.

2) 当汽油机足够预热后，根据所需的转速把油门手柄打开到相应的位置。
2) After the engine is sufficiently warmed-up, turn the handle of accelerograph to the appropriate position as required.

注意：
Attention:


(1) 刚刚起动后的汽油机润滑不良，不要迅速加速。
(1) The lubrication of the engine is not good enough after it is just started. At this time, don’t speed up the engine hastily.

(2) 切勿油门全开，汽油机超速运转，不仅会缩短汽油机寿命，而且会使汽油机的故障增多，应避免高速空载运转和超速运转。
(2) Do not turn on the accelerograph to the full open position because the over-speeding of the engine shall not only shorten its service life but also lead to increase of malfunctions. As a result, the running with no load and of over-speeding of the engine should be avoided.

4、 停机
4. Stop Engine

在一般情况下，应采用如下步骤停机：
Usually the following procedures should be taken for stopping the engine.

1) 将油门缓慢地打到低速位置，使汽油机的转速降至最低，让汽油机运转3～5分钟。
1) Slowly turn down the accelerograph to the slow speed position and let the engine run at the minimum speed for about 3-5 minutes.

2) 将熄火开关（按钮）按下或按机动车上停车开关，停机。
2) Press down the shut-off switch (button) or turn the stop switch on the motor.

三、技术保养
C. Technical Maintenance

为了使汽油机始终保持优良的性能，并保证其使用寿命，就必须进行定期检查、调整和保养，为此应注意如下几点：
For keeping the gasoline engine at excellent state of performance and ensuring its service life, it is necessary to conduct periodical check, adjustment and maintenance by following the matters below:

(1) 在进行任何保养前，必须关停汽油机；
(1) Before any maintenance is conducted, the engine must be stopped and all covers closed.

(2) 为了防止汽油机意外起动，应拔下火花塞连线；
(2) For avoiding accidental start of engine, the cable linked to spark plug should be taken off.

(3) 销售的汽油机配套机具应配备适当的检修工具和检修资料。
(3) The gasoline engine sold should be equipped with appropriate overhauling tools and repair information as the assorted facilities.

1、 空气滤清器的保养
1. Maintenance of Air Purifier

因为脏的空气滤清器会阻止空气进入化油器，为了防止化油器出故障和汽油机磨损加剧，所以空气滤清器必须定期保养。
Since a dirty air purifier shall hinder the air to enter the carburetor, it is necessary to conduct periodical maintenance on the air purifier in order to avoid malfunction on the carburetor and the aggravation of tear and wear on the engine.

尤其汽油机在尘土飞扬的环境下工作，空气滤清器更要注重保养，其方法是将滤芯清洗后浸机油拧干后再组装。
Especially when the engine is working in dusty environment, additional care should be taken to do maintenance on the air purifier by having the filter core cleaned, dipped in lubricant oil and squeeze it dry before have it mounted.
